How Some People Can Ruin A Nice Car

In the below pictures i think that these men have ruined the look of this nice 1978 Chevrolet Caprice. This car was sitting at a nice height and had really nice 15x8 corvette really rims with thick wall white letter tires and then they took the are and lifted it and put 22 inch chrome spinner rims with low profile tires and these old antiques are not made for these adjustments and it makes them look horrible

My Favorite Caprice Style

Ever since i was a young child i have always dreamed and fantasizes of having a 1978 caprice classic or chevrolet impala with cragar rims with either a 2 door or a 4 door. I don't know why i like them better than my style car in the late 80's but i like the older style grill and lights and i find them more box looking than the newer ones, i also like the lights in the older versions as well as the windows. I really like the caprice or impala 2 door in the older style they are extremely nice in looks and in the late 70's i don't like the look of a vinyl roof but in the late 80's i do like a vinyl roof i find it completes a car.

My Car After My Modifications

As you can see on the top of my blog it is my car to the current date with a few minor changes made that i chosen and did myself, persnally i like it the way it is now rather than origianl like it is on the bottom. In a few months in the spring i am going to get a professional paint job, also i am going to get new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, like the car below.

My Caprice

I bought my caprice when i was 16 years old from a elderly man who was 73 years of age who bought the car when it was only 4 years old and he bought it from his elderly relative. The car is a 1988 Caprice Classic Brougham that is a 2-tone brown, when i bought the car the old man just didnt have time to drive it so he decided to sell it but hated to part with it but as long as he knew it was going to a good home he would sell it so he did. It was olny winter driven when it was new then when he bought it it was stored away for the winters so i continue to do as well. When i bought it it sure looked like a old mans car as well, just plain old white wall tires as well as hub caps and was all original; when i bought it i had to make it look how i wanted so i made some changes. I first tinted the windows to 5% tint in the back, took off the big old winter tires and got new white letter BF Goodwrich tires that are wider and look better and also four 8" corvette rally wheels that are also wider than original.
